This strategically located town is also a place of interest for the tourists. The hill Monte Haco has made the town a place of importance from the country’s defense point of view. This hill has a fort which was built centuries ago and according to history, the Greek Army was using this fort to fight against enemies and pirates. Actually this town Ceuta separates Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea.

The Beach:
The part of the sea along the Ceuta occupies an important place for the Spanish Army; again because of its strategic location. At the same time the sea is buzzing with activity as a trade route. This is yet another reason why the Spanish Army has kept vigil on this beach. Impressed by its natural beauty and the overlooking Monte Haco hill many tourists flock to this beach. In spite of it being a busy port and under the watchful eye of the Spanish Military, the beach is considered to be safe for the tourists. Separate area has been earmarked for the tourists so that they are not disturbed by the ships anchored in the port. The beach has many water sports facilities and is considered safe even for children.

Churches:
Interestingly, this small town is the home for some of the historic churches. Some of the most visited churches are Santa Iglesia Catedral, Church Vicaria General Del Obispado De Ceuta, Church Parroquia De Santa Maria De Los Remedios, Church Parroquia Santa Teresa De Jesus De Ceuta and Comunidad Israelita De Ceuta. These churches are popular not only as places of worship but also as storehouses of some of the most popular works of art and artifacts. Some of the churches also have museums which depict the history of Ceuta and the history of the concerned church. These churches have traditional Moorish architecture.

How to reach Ceuta?
Ferry services are available to reach this town. The town also has an airport. It is very well connected by road and rail also. Having reached Ceuta, accommodation and food will not pose any problem. This is because there are plenty of villas, apartments and restaurants which have rentals suitable for all classes of visitors. The restaurants, hotels and bars serve the delicious traditional food of Ceuta at reasonable rates.

For best vacation, come to spain

As a person who works Monday to Friday or even 7 days a week, free time is just a heavenly gift. It is just that moment you have earned and fully deserve and it really must be spent in the best way possible. If it is just day one of your vacation, then stop wasting even a single second. Pack your bags and tell your wife that everything is settled for the next two weeks and a half. You are going to visit Spain. When you are talking about Bilbao, you are talking about a town with a population exceeding half a million people situated just on the Nervion estuary. In the past it was just one of those grey industrial cities on its way to a shameful decline, but that is far from the truth today. With 1997’s Guggenheim inauguration, this once derelict city has been reborn like a Phoenix from its ashes. Some of the things that brought this place to life are the music auditorium of Euskalduna and the metro line which was envisioned by Norman Foster.

Amazing hotels and classy bars and a lot of modern shops have sprung up like mushrooms after the rain and the change is so massive from what this town used to be that you will not believe your eyes if you see the before and after pictures. A great place to visit here is The Guggenheim Museum of Contemporary Art, a truly titanic place covered by titanium plaques which was designed by Frank O’Ghery. Ceuti is something like a miracle. Once it was just another town on the verge of industrial decline,it had ugly buildings and everything within it was just a no-no if you were a tourist. But today things have changed dramatically with Ceuti being resurrected and entitled as one of the most important cultural references belonging to the Murcian region. A renovated factory contains a few wonderful places like a staggering museum and an art gallery designed especially for children. It is also the place where the annual music festival is held with people of all ages attending.

Just 45 kilometers away from Mahon is the city of Ciutadella. This town was once the capital of Menorca and it still holds the cultural heritage and the well preserved historical buildings people used to visit. This is just a gorgeous place and the remains of the Arabic occupation are still pretty visible. You could say that this town comes as a two in one special offer. Why?  Because it has two parts, the modern part and an older part which is built in a Gothic style and attracting a lot of tourists because of it. If you are looking to spend your precious time in a place that will truly satisfy your needs for relaxation and peace, do not think too much about it. Spain is the place where each of your demands will be fully satisfied.

An awesome place to visit ,spain

So many people today just do not know how to spend their free time in a way that they could be happy with their choices and take full advantage of the plans they have made for the end of the year. Many people just go to different places because it is a fashion to go to a certain place guided by misconceptions of what a great vacation should truly be like. But you do not have to be like those people and be unsatisfied with your free time being spent in all the wrong places. Just come to Spain and immerse yourself in pure bliss.

When you hear the name of Baeza, you would know from that moment that you will be very interested in visiting it. Why? Baeza is one of those unique historical towns situated in the provice of Jaen in Andalucia, and to add more to its uniqueness, Europe’s largest olive tree plantation surrounds it. It is also near the El Parque Nacional de Cazorla, one of the most breathtaking parks you will be able to visit in Spain. The age of this city goes back to the Moorish occupation in the 900s and the Reconquista, back in the 1300s. The urban design of the city has incorporated Italian architectural visions, making it a combination of wonderful Spanish with Italian designs.

Yet another amazing town is Benissa located in the north of Alicante. The things that really make this town stand out are its beautiful long beaches with crystal clear water and sand so white you wouldn’t believe your eyes. Also the tall mountains and the green wide valleys are central pieces of the appeal the Benissa town has been blessed with. Living in this town, also referred to as little Europe, are a lot of European people from Britain, Germany, Belgium and Scandinavia. They also chose to live in this place, like many others because of the wonderful area this town is located in and also because of its rare peaceful atmosphere which is hard to find in other places of the world. It is just something impossible to outclass.

If you used to go fishing with your father when you were young or you are just a fishing fan, then you should not miss visiting Bermeo. It is a village; not just an ordinary village, but one of the most important fishing villages in Vizcaya. The main draw to this place is its historical importance, the traditions, the buildings and also the older part of it, characterized by narrow streets. If you think you have planned your next vacation, well think again. Spain is one of those places that will leave you in awe after visiting any historical location you think of. It is just something this country has that no other can offer.
